| 1. JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager for territory of India |

SENSYS is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager with a strong technical and business background in industrial process automation specific to manufacturing, oil and gas, mining petrochemical and petroleum refining, power generation and utilities, and water and wastewater.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate must have proven skills in direct product selling and should have a background of managing medium to large strategic accounts (including forecasting, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management), with HMI/Historian/Plant Information Management System software, control systems etc.. Along with a strong technical and business knowledge, complimentary skills to understand the client's business drivers and align to company's solutions are essential. Must have proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams. Position end-to-end solutions and articulate primary vendor strategies to senior client executives are essential. Must be an aggressive self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, align product and business strategies, and facilitate in closing deals. The job requires a minimum of 6 to 8 years successful sales experience in managing medium to large accounts in a growing technology environment. Candidate must be preferrably based in Mumbai.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To recruit and train sales staff
- To initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate into new markets
- To supervise, motivate and monitor team performance
- To allocate areas to sales executives
- To set budgets/targets
- To provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
- To control expenses to meet budget guidelines
- To liase with customers (which may include direct selling)
- To maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products or services;
- To review direct competition and conduct regular research.
- To maintain positive working relationship with clients & vendor partners
- To maintain positive working relationship with internal administrative staff
- To provide marketing assistance and planning for regional events
- To demonstrate exceptional product and designated industry knowledge
