INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Sr. E&I Design Engineer (WHCP) to join our dynamic Wellhead and Skids Solutions team. This role is pivotal in supporting Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels, and Pressure Regulation Systems to enhance the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas systems. What You’ll Lead and Deliver
- Review of RFQs, and client specifications for E&I scope in skid and wellhead packages
- Lead engineering deliverables including Specifications, WHCP & Skid design documents, Instrument Datasheets, Logic Diagrams etc
- Lead E&I design, testing and commissioning.
- All types of electrical calculations, Instrument cable voltage drop & Intrinsically Safe Circuit Calculations, Electrical requirements, Heat loads and WHCP sizing
- Inter-disciplinary document comments and reviews
- Provide inputs and review of engineering drawings including panel layout, electrical schematic, Cable & JB Schedules, Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument Installation Details, Process / Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Interconnection Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams
- Attend interface meetings with Clients and Vendors to propose design scopes for WHCP and Skids related E&I scope
- Review Vendors offers, prepare Vendor and customer Technical Clarifications and prepare Technical design for E&I and WHCP scope.
- Review vendor’s technical offers
- Identify risks, deviations, and assumptions in project scope of work
- Participate in client meetings and technical clarifications
- Ensure timely submission of technical specification and other deliverables
Requirements
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics / Mechatronics)
- 7 - 8 years of experience in Project/Operation (Electrical, Instrumentation or control systems)
- Strong knowledge package E&I systems and knowledge of WHCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with international standards (API, IEC, ISO)
- Experience with control/safety systems (PLC, SIL systems preferred)
